Hereby I would like to ask our Foreign Ministry and other nations worldwide to object the WHO Secretariat office for the malicious interpretation of the U.N. Resolution #2758.
Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus shall admit his mistake just as well as Director-General Ban Ki-Moon of U.N. did!!
Mr. Tedros has been ridiculously indicating that Taiwan is part of China using the UN Resolution #2758 and tried to tie Taiwan up with China with the 2005 Memorandum of Understanding, which was exactly what Director-General Ban Ki-Moon did in 2007.
Below I would like to reveal what mistake Ban Ki-Moon has made and the consequences in 2007.
March 2007, Taiwan wanted to join the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, of which intention was expressed via Nauru Republic. Director-General Ban Ki-Moon of U.N. replied that base on the U.N. Resolution #2758, UN considers Taiwan being a part of China so he cannot accept any documentations addressed under the name of Republic of China(Taiwan).
On 18th July 2007, former President Chen Shui-Bian applied to Ban Ki-Moon asking for the acceptance from the U.N. under the title of Taiwan.
On 23rd of July, UN Secretariat office rejected such claim.
On 27th at California, some reporter asked Ban Ki-Moon why he turned down the application from Taiwan? He also replied that it was due to the UN Resolution #2758 so that PRC is the one and only legitimate representation of China and Taiwan is part of it.
Regarding above statement, US government reacted right away issuing a report with 9 points expressing that US objected the UN asking the world organizations to admit such “Taiwan is part of China, no matter what “ statement.
On 15 August, Ban Ki-Moon acknowledged to the UN Ambassador of US that “UN falsely interpreted Resolution #2758 and shall not make the same mistake later on.”
Today, Mr. Tedros did it again!!!
Our Foreign Minister fought back right away! In my opinion, I suggest our government to mobilize all countries (including the US) referring to what the US did in 2007 to ask worldwide members of WHO to object the interpretation regarding Taiwan status by Mr. Tedros.
WHO Secretariat traded off the sovereignty of Taiwan OFFICIALLY and inevitably harmful to Taiwan if the world keeps silence.
I request Mr. Tedros to apologize and admit his mistake at soonest!!!!
TAIWAN CAN HELP!
AND TAIWAN IS HELPING!!
The whole world PLEASE HELP TAIWAN, TOO.
